Finding a Working Harmony between the Old and the New

The Djed, is one of the more ancient and commonly found symbols in ancient Egyptian religion.
It is a pillar-like symbol in Egyptian hieroglyphs representing stability and is associated with the creator god Ptah, the patron Deity of Craftsmen and Architects.

Working History

Djed Woodworks was established in London by Egyptian craftsman Sary Wardakan in 2017. An extensive travel history through four continents has enriched his designs with cultural motifs from around the world, including Japanese, Indian, Persian, Celtic, Islamic, and of course Egyptian and African.
